RWS 9B Air Pistol
550 fps with only 8 lbs Cocking Effort
The new easy-cocking RWS-Cometa Model 9B Air Pistols are making waves in the airgun business. This fun to shoot RWS air pistol has a surprising amount of power!
The gear reduction over-lever cocking system of these air guns, with the cocking arm hinged at the front of the receiver makes the RWS Model 9 air pistols a joy to shoot. The cocking handle is connected to a ratcheted gear that provides a lot of leverage. So much leverage, that cocking effort is reduced to only 8 lbs, and still the Model 9's have a factory rating of 550 fps. The extra leverage means the cocking stroke is longer, but much easier than other air guns of comparable power. Cocking the RWS Model 9B airgun exposes the breech for inserting a .177 caliber pellet directly into the 8" barrel. Besides the safety, which resets automatically when cocking, there is a cocking lever lock that must be engaged before the air pistol can be fired, making this RWS air pistol one of the safest models available.
The RWS M9B and M9N (nickel plated) both come with adjustable sights and the standard right hand grips include a thumb rest. Left Hand Grips are available separately. These full-size RWS adult air guns are of all-metal construction and weigh in at about 2.4 lbs, and overall length is about 10.4". The barrel length is 8".
